Future events for 2023

  • 23 April St George’s Day parade (am) - details to follow. Scouts expected to attend.
  • 29-30 April Big Scout Little Scout– Rough Close, near Coventry. An overnight camp for Scouts plus an adult.
  • 11 May – Jamboree on the Trail, local hike around Redditch
  • 17-18 June – Expedition camp for older Scouts
  • 7-9 July Shirejam – for Scouts already booked.
  • August – possibility of a 4 night summer camp, location and dates to be agreed
  • 22-24 September – possible hike camp based at Nash’s Acre
  • 6-9 October – Operation Bald Eagle, Rhydd Covert near Kidderminster
  • October half term – possibility of a 4 night troop camp
  • November (dates tbc) – Chip shop camp, Nash’s Acre
  • 1-3 December - Christmas sleepover Rhydd Covert

Scouts meet on Thursday evenings, usually from 7-8.30pm. Meetings will be held outdoors whenever possible – Scouts should wear uniform to all meetings (unless advised otherwise) plus a warm outer layer if required. Subs are £35 for the term, due on 13th October. Information about special events and camps will be circulated separately by email.
