Scout news

We are very proud that the Astwood Bank Trekkers were placed third overall for Operation Bald Eagle 2024. They were only 8 points behind the team that came second and 78 behind the overall winners. Both teams completed a range of day and night challenges and navigated a night hike, returning on time and without getting lost. Well done teams!
Four Scouts successfully completed their Expedition Challenge in October 2024. Afterwards Jess said ‘After two full days of walking, I felt very tired and grateful to put my backpack down. It was a great experience and has encouraged me to sign up for the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award.’
